Canadian Dental Benefit
Children need to have regular dental cleanings and care, just as their parents and guardians do. Dr. Massi and the other dentists at our dental clinic in Thornhill approach each child with care and provide their parents with a customized treatment plan to meet the oral health needs of their child. Even better is that the Canadian government is giving your child a new benefit called the Canada Dental Benefit (CDB). Now, your child’s dental visits may be covered.
For Children Under 12
In December 2022, the government of Canada announced that eligible families that do not have dental insurance can receive up to $650 per child to cover their dental appointments, however, the amount varies based on the household income. Eligible services include oral surgery, preventive, restorative, endodontic, periodontic, prosthodontic, and orthodontic services.
